Light visibility and shadow

Post by Egert_Kanep »

When turning area light's visible to camera off, it still casts shadows, is there a way to also get rid of those?

Nope.
but it would be really helpful, also visibility for reflections and diffuse and ability to include/exclude objects from lighting.
It would be great for in-camera compositing and light modeling.
It can be achieved with render layers to a certain degree but if you have a lot if objetc to modify in different ways the process becomes too slow and overcomplicated.
