OCL broken on MacOS 12.1

Post by epilectrolytics »

GPU rendering with OCL was working wonderfully on MacOS 12.0 on my MacBook Air M1.
After updating to 12.1 viewport render throws tis error in Blender cube default scene:
Blender2.93LuxCore2.6a.jpg
Switching film device to CPU in preferences solves this, but when trying GPU render the same error shows again.
Using BlendLuxCore 2.6 alpha on Blender 2.93.5.

Thanks @TAO, I didn't post in the dev thread because it was about building mainly.
It's the same old story with Apple messing up their drivers leaving devs and users in despair.

I've been testing further, standalone LuxCore.app 2.3 and 2.4 work with Cornell scene in PathOCL on M1 Mac, OS 12.1.
Versions 2.5 and 2.6a crash when trying to open the scene.

Remove the old Kernel cache from home/luxcorrender.org directory... it's a "known" issue
