Hello Together,
I have an issue, with rendering images of a static scene from different angles.
If i Rotate the camera around a lighting element there is some kind of flickering on the floor (See gif).
The setup is very somple (and also attaced): There is some led which is lighting up a volume. the light then reaches the floor, which is perfectly diffuse.
Because its diffuse the floor should be always the same brightness. But the brighness is different from different angles!
Does anyone have a clue whats causing this?
Thanks a lot for any kind of help!
Meinhard

Re: Flickering while rendering from different perspectives
It is a bit hard to say but the scale of your scene is extremely small and I assume you are hitting some precision problem. Check this post for some more information: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3829&p=31635#p31627
To start, I would try to scale up the scene of more than 10 times. The default scene "size" is something like a room (1 = 1 meter). Otherwise you have to adjust some parameter and you can end to hit numerical precision problems anyway.
