There must be something in this particular scene triggering the problem, you could try to progressively remove stuff in order to isolate the source of the problem.

Use of PhotonGI Cache makes results a bit darker.
Not sure, but I think it was already mentioned...

0 - no caches (reference)

1 - PGI (darker)

2 - PGI + ENV (darker)

3 - PGI+ENV+DLS (darker)

4 - ENV (bright as reference w/o caches)

I'm looking in a Disney material related problem and I will check this as soon as I have finished there.

Have you tried to just disable PGI for the material of the bed ?

There's no Disney material used.
Bed & Pillows use Velvet, Walls - Matte, Floor & Structural framing - Glossy+Matte
Disabling PGI on a bed (Velvet) material helps a bit but not fully. And disabling it on Floor, slightly darkens a bit...
I'm thinking it might be Blender's "fix" for color values causing this by influencing Glossines Threshold... or it's just how this scene is set (I haven't gone through all details, since it's a bit of disorganized mess

Just try what he is saying. It should work fine without speed penalty. Just disable Cache on the darkening material.
