Does not seem to use my GPU

Hello,

I have updated to blender 2.92 and luxcore 2.5 (tried latest aswell) and it does not seem to be using my GPU as the CPU hits 100% and GPU is basically 10%.

I have the GPU set as I had in the older version of blender and I have got the latest nvidia drivers as of yesterday. I have run blender in debug mode but I am not really sure what I am looking for but it seems to mention my card and optix.

Am I missing something simple on this because for example if I use ATI render engine that happily uses the whole GPU and renders as quick as I would expect.

What are you using to check the GPU workload ? On Windows, you have to select GPU computing workload, not normal gfx related one.

I am just using task manager to see if the GPU is being used as it was taking longer then before to render things. I have selected all the GPU option in blender as I used to do.

Well that will teach me for relying on a microsoft product I guess I just thought that it would show if the GPU is being used like when watching videos or like the radeon pro render it goes upto 100%. I have used GPUz thanks sharlybg and that does in deed show that the GPU is being 100% utilised when only the standard task manager show 10%. So I guess microsoft and radeon pro render must report usage differently to CPUz and how luxcore is using the card.

You need to switch one of the GPU diagrams to Cuda:
