Different rendering results in Windows and Linux

Post by SlowHand »

Windows

Linux

Why Linux generates different results?
I wonder the problem is caused by Absorption in material.

I used Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04, and Blender 2.90.1 and Luxcore 2.5 beta (also 2.4).
CPU render with Bidirectional.

That is very strange, the problem is likely to be in the skin material, can you try to replicate the problem in a simple scene with a cube and the skin material applied and post the scene ?

Maybe there was a problem of file name.
The name of a texture was SSS.png, and I changed it to sss.png, and everything works well.
File names including Capital letter partially, such as Face.png, have no problems.
Sorry for the inconvenience, Dade.

Yes, Linux file system is case sensitive while Windows it isn't.
