Setup of a special material and emission situation

Hello all,

I'd like to create a special material combination.
It is a special red acrylic that allows also a special yellow light to come through it and still looking yellow.

The following image shows the absorption of the red acrylic and the spectrum of the light source.

Is it possibel to model this situation in luxcorerender?
Thank you.

BR.

Specialized materials like this could probably benefit from a spectral workflow. I hope the LuxcoreRender devs put it back on their list.

I don't think it is possible now. In RGB space, the yellow light must be composed of similar parts R and G, while a red-looking filter must filter out almost all G... hence ending up with a red light after transmission.

There was a nice example on discord recently where someone passed the dispered spectrum from a prism through a red filter, leading to pruple becoming red.
