I'm testing Env cache for an interior.
It seems that Env Cache has some problems with matte traslucent material.
As caches...I'm using just PGI and Env cache.

Re: 2.5a: Env cache and matte traslucent mat
Is your curtain modelled from a 2D-plane or a solid object?
I noticed recently that matte translucent seems to behave as 1-directional, i.e. it is ignored when the ray comes from the back side of the face. I didn't test how it behaves with caches but might be similar.

Re: 2.5a: Env cache and matte traslucent mat
when I use matte...I alwasys use a not-closed surface...like a plane.
I don't have thickness for those curtains.

Re: 2.5a: Env cache and matte traslucent mat
maybe a workarround can be glossy transclucent with high roughness value + two side mode enable.
Re: 2.5a: Env cache and matte traslucent mat
Thank you Sharlybg!
It's working really good..more than matte translucent.
In any case...I think that there is something strange with that matte traslucent material.
Re: 2.5a: Env cache and matte traslucent mat
when you enable double side don't forget to increase roughness value of the second side too
you can also make the shado color a bit white/grey for better performance.
