Volumes for clear glass

Post by filip »

Hi,

If I do a clear glass (no color), do I need to add a volume to it for it to be accurate and interact properly with the rendering engine?
It doesn't seem to make a difference to me visually, at least in my testing, but wondering if it would be important in some cases (besides intersecting volumes)?

No, if there aren't other volumes involved like a liquid inside a glass, etc.
