When sun has a specific rotation default cube appears red?

Post by xlxs »

I might be missing something here but: All used colors in the .blend are white, but somehow the cube appears orange/red. Rotating the cube doesn't fix the problem. Rotating the sun fixes the problem. The further sun rotates from [90,0,0] the more correct the color is.

Some parameters might not be the default, but the problem should be replicated with any sun with the specific rotation (world surface light set to none, to be more visible).

Also a sun rotation of [-90,0,0] causes the same problem too

I also remember about almost a year ago I think, that I got somehow very red lights in a .blend that had 1 laser light with rotation [-90,0,0]. So this problem might not be new :?:

The Sun/Sky lamps both use the rotation of the sun lamp to adjust their colour, try using a distant lamp instead?
