hm, it only works in your scene with artificial lighting. When I use sun and sky and no clamping I don't get much sun inside the glass

I would expect something more like this

hm, so it doesn't work...

here's your juice in glass as you set it up but this time with sun and sky
juice_glass_glass.png
here it is juice object only
juice_glass.png
and here it is juice only but this time architectural glass
juice_archglass.png
so only the last one shows proper gradient from sunlight inside the volume (closer to reference photo in my previous post)

Thanks, I'll check it in the morning I'm not at pc atm.
But now the refraction looks a bit odd near the top and the very top still kinda looks darker than I'd expect under direct sun...

How is it modelled? what's the glass shader like?

You can tweak it further, on my slow computer it is hard to find the perfect settings. But keep in mind, that for commercial beverage photos they use back lighting, so without that you wont get those punchy results.

Camera volume should be disabled, because it makes nonsense all the time.

This juice's volume has priority 0, the same as glass. Glass should have higher priority. Also, juice ior = 1.5, which is uncommon for juice (unless it's 85% sucrose).

Your volume priorities are also both 0.

I like bidir version better. It is three times faster and ten billion times better.
