Check the number of native threads you have in OpenCL, it must be > zero. It renders fine here.

CPU threads are set to auto-detect, which come up as 8 for me.

I tested it here (win10, Bl2.81, Lux 2.4 daily from ~3 days ago) and it works fine. I downloaded you scene, rendered directly (CPU), switched to OpenCL setting, rendered again.

OCL:

EDIT: Looks a lot brighter than your pictures though...

That would be because I use the ACES tonemapping

How about the OpenCL/GPU drivers? This wasn't mentioned in this thread yet, and dirver problems have occured in the past.

What are you system specs actually?

Try to check also your CPU load during the rendering

Tested and confirmed - working fine w/o any visual difference in CPU vs OCL rendered images (even when using ACES color management).

Updated to 20.4.1, still not correct. CPU load reaches 100% in task manager. This must be hardware specific if other people cannot reproduce it.
