whoa, there's a lot of bluring and artifacting going on on the ground and on the door in the shadow. Especially for 22hrs. of rendering

Nicely done.

I also think it's better to let the machine render extra 12 hours than burning self out while staring at the screen, pushing buttons - fixing shading & lighting to get the "natural look".

there's nothing natural bidir gives you. And it's not extra 12hrs but extra 20hrs. especially at that res.

Going by what's written, it's 14h extra! To be precise.
Also, it looks like you got a long bidir road ahead of you...
But rather than bitching and waving with cocks, let us show respect to the resident artist. ;)

That said, Sharly if you have nvidia gpu, you could try optix denoiser.

Another well done interior render Sharylbg, acrylic chairs look great.

Dark, mostly indirectly lit areas are hard to get noise free with pathtracer, they receive considerably less rays (samples) from the photon pass than bright ones, hence more noise. Bidir works best when the dominant light source is just one bounce away from the hit point and an indirect path can be established.

I really like the chairs material but, as the previous render (the kitchen one), I don't like how the denoiser affect the result.
Too smooth and some details lost as the door on the background.

In any case, I appreciate the result but 22hrs for just an image and denoised to make it clean is really a low production efficiency result.
Imagine if the client need a quick modify...

But , I want to repeat that the overall result is fine and good...
