hey! good work! some advice i might be able to give you: the lighting in the scene seems "flat", this makes all the objects in the scene blend together and its difficult to understand the scene. Archviz is hard, but you did a great job with the models.

Hi PetrT !

First thanks for taking time to share your work with the community It is something we do appreciate.
The color choice is pretty well done and balanced and each assets match correctly the design Theme.
I personally like the Fabric material on the two grey armchair.

Aside from that Just want to say That Datboi was really not trying to be harsh on you.
in fact what he pointed out make a lot of sense. looking at the image it is quite hard
to tell wich time of the day can produce such Lighting. Like light is coming from everywhere
washing out all the shadows. Looking at the background you can see that the inside look too bright
while the artificial light are Off.
I think it could really improve a lot all the hard work you put in the texturing / shading / modeling
with a better realistic lighting. try to follow real life reference :

Seriouslly it isn't about being harsh we all faced it at some point.
Don't feel bad about that you already did a great job just that there is alot more potential.

Good start with a little bit of effort it will be a perfect render, especially if you limit the light from behind the camera to make your scene more natural.

Much better, the lighting from the window on the floor with the transition to the light coming through the shade on the upper window is excellent. Furniture/cloth are showing the great modeled wrinkles better now.
I see you moved the tree through the door farther away, I would try to move it visually farther away yet, if possible, to give the door some 'room'.
I would also suggest a tiny bumpy-ness/wavy-ness at the hanging edge of the cloth on the center table.
The bricks of the fireplace seem too perfect, a little mussing up the edges or maybe slight color variation, something.
Great work so far.

A lot better ! Great.
What is the albedo value of your white wall.
A realistic and faster to render value is between
0.7 to 0.8 white level aka 70% to 80% white value.
Too high produce more fireflies and break energy
Conservation harmony in the scene.currently the wall
Look too bright.
You can have the bright wall by edititing the final
Render in exr 32bits and edit it in a prog like darktable.

amazing stuff! the scene looks alot more readable now, the lighting really helps to showcase the scene/modelling/texturing. this is much improved!
