Modern Bed Room

Post by nogay »

Greetings to all,
This project was drawn a year ago for a special job. I rendered with Cycles a year ago. Now I rendered again with luxrender by making a few additions. I was happy with the result. Settings are as attached.

This work looks clean! very nice. Could we see the Cycles version and the Luxcorerender version side by side for a comparison? and also what are your thoughts on using Luxcorerender over Cycles, which one do you prefer?

That look really nice and well design.
Btw you do have a lot of performance left behind with thoses settings you just shared
For example as your are on Path tracing (not bidir) Sobol should be faster i think.
Also it is an interior with lot of diffuse surface so you can gain lot of speed through Gi cache.
Maybe you can try a test render at lower resolution to compare with settings

Thanks for the comments. i will try sharlybg. dat_boi, I don't have enough material experience for luxrender yet. so cycles is still my first choice. I really like luxrender as image processing quality. The comparison image already explains everything. :)
