Did you try it with latest OIDIN 1.4 already?
by the way i would like some dispersion for the watch glass, which will create a nice thin ring effect in some point on the outer glass rim.

I used the old denoiser, I can try thin film and see the result.

did you set the glass as saphir?
suggestion if you use saphire glass. If the glass is a flat surface, it might give some reflection-refraction issue, this is a common phenomena which is avoided adding an anti reflection coating to the glass. while if the glass is at least slightly curved, the reflection-refraction phenomena will not show, like it happens in real world.
