Clay Shader test

Post by dorimster »

Hi guys! I just want to say I'm relly impresed from LuxCore! So a big THANK YOU and WELL DONE to all developing this engine! I was looking for an alternative of a Cycles for a while and recently I found LuxCore. For now I managed to do just some quick tests but my first impresions are greate! As a former Corona user I need to say that the feelling of the light and shading is very similar if not even better! So once again great job to everyone who is working on LuxCore! And here is one of my testrenders for a clay shader setup. Cheers! :)

Thank you! Render settings are basically the default ones - CPU and Path with default numbers for bounces, three point light setup, material is Glossy Translucent with a Homogeneous Volume for the sss, render time is set to 4 minutes and my processor is Ryzen Threadripper 1920X

This looks great. I'd love to see the nodes for your shader if you don't mind posting.
