The vertical stripes, are they reflections or to avoid with more subsurf?

I modelled the glass after one I found in our kitchen, it had this enclosed bubble in the base (I guess for decoration).

Nice picture, maybe a bit too much in the glass. Are you that thirsty?

Yes, I realized that later, too.
But during the modeling process I didn't think of it as whiskey, it was just this grey mesh that I had to place somewhere between bottom and top :)
