GPU rendering in 2.5 not working with Blender 2.83.2 on my machine.

Tried system settings of CUDA, OptiX and OpenCL with different combinations of LuxCore API settings of OpenCL and CUDA. Turned off CPU rendering as well as combination. No luck.

You need to update your NVIDIA drivers to 451+.

Rendered again at 500 samples with Denoiser. (Adjusted values for transmissions. Had set most to .500, which dulled the translucency. This one looks livelier.)

Full render is 3480 x 2160 and took 50:36. (My estimated time was wrong previously)

This version is 50% of original in order to upload.

How doesn't it work ? Do you get a console error ? A crash ?

It would stay in kernel compiling.

Rendered twice with latest build of 2.5.

First render set system to OptiX and add on to CUDA. Rendered in 38:21

Second render set system to CUDA and add on to CUDA with OptiX unchecked. Rendered in 38.04

You have rendered both times with CUDA+Optix, the current BlendLuxCore preference setting has no effect (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2283&start=50#p24699). Try to compare CUDA+Optix Vs. OpenCL.

Yes, this is the type of scenes where RTX hardware can make a huge difference.
