Hi,
yes, I was talking about that...
If the light emitting surface is completly surrounded by the same medium it should emit light in a correct way no matter what's the surface normal pointing to.
The glass node could also pick it's refractive index from internal volume like it always does.
The only disadvantage seems to be that you have an additional surface.
Please consider the "flip emitting direction" checkbox anyway.
I'm still thinking that it keeps somewhat a logical base for the stuff we're doing. Thanks.
