Where to get older versions of LuxRender?

Subj. Hello! The old site seems to be dead. But older LuxRender was pretty good because of it's spectrum basis. Is there any chance to get older versions (1.6, 1.7)?

The sources are available here: https://bitbucket.org/luxrender/

I'm not aware of any places with the binaries aside from the old sites.

I have some packages of 1.6 saved, but unfortunately not 1.7.

Hello,

Recently I had to get the 1.6 version to render a scene that I exported. Some older versions are still available officially here :

http://www.luxrender.net/release/

And the whole LuxRender website is archived, for example :

https://web.archive.org/web/20180220011 ... n_GB/index

I can download all the previous releases of LuxRender, even some oldest ones.

Maybe it could be interesting to create a page somewhere on the website to let download binaries of older versions. Even if the LuxCoreRender is far better and faster, some people may still be interested to get a previous version for compatibility purposes.

If you want I can create an account for you on https://wiki.luxcorerender.org so you can write down a simple page with few useful links (unfortunately, we had to remove open registration from the wiki because of the insane amount of spam).

Hi,

Thanks.

Of course I can write this page if it helps. We can link to the latest 1.6 in http://www.luxrender.net/release/ (only the x64 windows opencl) but also provide links to Archive.org for other downloads. But I think the binaries should be saved in the luxcorerender.org server.

I have uploaded the latest binaries here: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/LuxCor ... ender_v1.6

Hello,

The page is now online :

https://wiki.luxcorerender.org/Previous_Version

On the main page, it is under the "useful inks" section.
