Well, actually it's not just a 1:1 conversion .
For example, if you create your project inside 3dsmax, these are the supported 3dsmax features

And these are the general limitations
https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/LAV ... imitations

In my opinion it's not yet the time where you can switch from an offline to a realtime renderer with any other effort.
At the moment, you have to design before what engine you want to use.

I'm a Vray user I'm quite happy to see that Chaos is trying to go to realtime but, in my opinion we have to wait yet some years to use something similar for all the kind of uses the offline renderers like Vray can be used to.
Let's see what will happen.

Sure it isn't going to replace Vray for the Next advenger Triple A Movies.
But what I meant is that the Perception of efficiency and speed/quality for all the
Engine in the industry is reinvented.

Well, actually it's not necessary to have to do the next Avenger film.

In my daily projects (interior design for retail market) I'm using features that are not supported in Lavina/Vantage and I should change some materials to be compatible...but this is not just a time consuming task, it's a step back as managing the scene.
For example, just 1 UV channels is a big limitation.

I'm not saying that it's a useless tool but it must be considered what can achieve now and what it's your goal.
At certain conditions, it could be the best solution.

For what I see the application is at the early stage and is going to improve.
So what i mean is that there is a global trends a big picture behind all that change.
