Hello, I can't seem to figure out why some parts of my renders always end up with black spots, on my characters in particular. What do I have to do to fix this? I'm using the Reality plugin through Daz Studio. Other parts will render in white when its supposed to be black as well, among other things, but its the black spots I'm mainly focused on.

Well, in the 'about' section under the 'help' tab, it says version 1.3.1 from 2013. I guess I'm way behind the eight ball?

So how do I update it? Or do I have to buy the latest version?

LuxCoreRender (the new version of LuxRender) is free/open source software. Try download the latest version from this website, IIRC LuxCore has the ability to read old LuxRender .lxs scene files.
See if you can export without rendering from Reality and render in LuxCoreRender. Also if you upload a screenshot that can help.
