is light linking going to be added? I think octane is the only renderer in blender that has light linking but its inferior to luxcore

You will have to describe in more detail how exactly this feature should work. The best place for such feature requests is a github issue btw (I think there is already one for this topic, you can add a comment there if that's the case).

Will something like the light path node that cycles has, be supported in the future? Or thats not possible? in both bidir and path
I think this will unlock many possibilities....

It has a very low priority for me. It is also quite complex to implement when you trace light in both direction (BiDir, Light tracing, PhotonGI, etc.).

Most of the time this kind of features are implemented to solve Computing or Realism issues. So the way from my POV is to talk about the specific issue you want to solve :

__Speed up glass rendering ?
__ Fake caustics ?
__ Improved GI quality ?

Then a realistic method can be implemented to solve the issue instead of trying to copy another engine philosophy Behaviour.
