Re: Playing with liquids+bottles

Tks, its funny because I saw a lot of videos on people explaining weird methods to make displacement maps , ranging from getting heights with fancy methods to using plug-ins when in reality, turns out its a lot easier than I expected: Very short video and exactly to the point: https://www.youtube.co...

Re: Playing with liquids+bottles

A bit different, decided to tackle Coffee foam, tried first a Cycles foam shadder but it was utter rubbish. Watched a few of Dravia/Sharlylbg tutorials on SSS and decided to combine a few materials and try for the fisrt time custom bumps and displacement maps. Test5.jpg Still a WIP, but feel like al...

Harvester wrote: Fri May 13, 2022 3:04 pm Hi Dade,

when do you plan to publish a new release compatible with Blender version 3.1, and Python 3.10, of the BlendLuxCore add-on?

Thank you.
Have a look here:

AFAIK won't work with 3.2 but should cover all the 3.1.x

Re: How to Install Blendluxcore for Blender on Google Colab

It will output whatever and wherever is setup on file, by default is tmp directory, change that to a meanfull directory or keep it relative to file (//). Also change whatever layer passes and file format output you want, save and re upload file to Google Drive.

Re: LuxCoreRender daily/automatic builds

Yes it does, but Cycles lacks a lot of Lux features, anticipating that could generate some new interest from Mac users and probably help Lux popularity my point was IF it didn't need a re write (more like just a simple re-compilation) it could prove useful to have a native ARM version. Even assuming...

Re: LuxCoreRender daily/automatic builds

On the other hand: I know resources and manpower are already stretched as it is and I really have no idea of the scope of the work needed but (if it was a simple affair) it could be interesting to have a OpenCL BlendLuxCore Mac version for ARM. I do know OpenCL is deprecated in current MacOS and no ...
