Re: texture nodes for world hdri

It would be great if procedural nodes for clouds or stars could be added to the sunsky or general background like it is possible in Cycles.

Re: Underwater Selfie

How do you denoise, what do you mean by 50%, like you render at 200%, which is denoised and then resampled down to 50%? Like he mix raw render with denoised OIDN by 50% . Yep, denoised AOV is too clean (detail loss presumably because of volume scatter) and raw AOV has some noise left so I mix them ...

Underwater Selfie

This scene is based o the work of fabi and B.O.Y.B. here . The cute models are from threedscans.com and the marble texture from sharetextures.com . I only modelled the steps, textured and arranged the scene which is meant to showcase refractive and volumetric caustics with a hint of dispersion. Nee...

Thanks, I'm still experimenting with materials and will report back when satisfied (will take some time because of a current animation render).

Good job with the pool scene!

BiDir 1200 samples + OIDN = 3h on Ryzen 2700X
Also there is a procedural bump texture not helping with the speed, so yeah, not animation ready...

That's a nice one!

Re: Cache combination problem

I should have fixed the problem in the latest sources. Thanks for looking into this! Now the cache size is not restricted any more but there are still firefly photons appearing when the indirect cache is added and they persist however I change the settings. causticcache.png Note: your caustic merge...
