Re: Would it be possible to get Alpha on Glass Materials?

Hoah!Thaks a lot, will test, and give feed back!Looks great. I guess because I'm a bit new to the whole scene maybe I'm not calling things by their names but the ability to have transparency (alpha?) on a glass material believe its invaluable for people who are more focused on the kind of studio sti...

Re: Beach scene

Haha, don't even get my started, I got an horror gallery of Phosotop bugs/erros, unfortunately I depend on it for a living and there's no real competition for it.But I keep at least 2 versions of PS at all times, because you never know what surprises Adobe has for you on new updates. Re: Beach scene

For example... " Nothing to say except if you tweaked it in Photoshop there's a very simple way to get that sky banding gone: if you still have it in Layers: convert to 16bits, flat the document and convert back to 8bits. Ideally you should start with 16bits/channel but even changing from 8 to...

Re: Would it be possible to get Alpha on Glass Materials?

You have just to use Glass + material transparency (probably called opacity in Blender) and you get a Cycles-like alpha channel. I don't even think Cycles is ok, its closer but not ok.The light reflections really shouldnt keep that much Alpha, those are reflections on a glossy surface that should c...

Would it be possible to get Alpha on Glass Materials?

Don't really know the inner workings or how much work it would take or even if its possible considering the differences between the way Cycles and Lux calculate light, but in Cycles its kind of easy to get an Alpha trough Glass materials.Considering Lux is much more suited for the kind of renders in...
