Abstract space thing
Something spacey and kind of abstract I guess. Just had this idea and wanted to try it out. This time I also rendered a thin fog using exterior volume. I'm really interested in all this volume rendering and next things will be liquids and maybe some smoke.

Denoiser clamps render
It seems like denoiser clamps bright parts of my images, I rendered image in 16 bit and used mostly area lights. When I used HDR image, it was working fine. Also sometimes denoiser doesn't start so I have to re render my image again.

Iridiscent material or thin film
Is there or will there be a way to add thin film effect to a material. Like for skin or leather and bubbles also . I tried somehing with magic noise which I added to specular color, but I'd prefer a dedicated material like glossy coating.

Re: Smoke, woman, red sofa
Made some changes and let it render for longer time to get rid of noise.

Smoke, woman, red sofa
A quick doodle, nothing really fancy. Subtle smoke layer was added in compositing.

Re: RGB and RGBA look overexposed
Okay, thanks for explaining. I wonder what is the intended use of these non tonemapped aov's? I assume that if I use beauty pass I still get the correct result just with normalized lighting so what could I benefit from those raw passes?

RGB and RGBA look overexposed
Altough I already found solution to my problem, which was to achieve transparent background, I noticed that RGB and RGBA aov's look super bright. Other passes like direct diffuse and indirect diffuse looked fine.

Re: Pointiness falloff
What I am trying to do is to make pointiness affect bigger area. In the attached photo I want to make pointiness go further down the slopes, but using band only increases contrast.

Pointiness falloff
Is it possible to control pointiness falloff? Right now it seems that multiplier slider only controls it's strength not size.
