Re: Emission node problems
I can't understand that you wrote "Anyway, you can already scale the output or set the gain to 1/89159.6 to obtain the same result." but, from my tests, is clearly that it's not like this. So, if it should be the same, why the color is different if you use or not the normalize option? And,...

Re: White balance: how should work in luxcore?
You're right but I'd like to use real light temperature as much as possible and I'd like to have a reliable way to white balance correctly. I really like the opportunity to setup my scene starting from a "as much real values as possible" setup and then make some "unrealistic but a bit...

Re: Emission node problems
Dade, I've tested the Normalize option but there is something I cant' understand. Using daily build. Using an area light with "power" unit mode. https://i.imgur.com/7au9QWc.jpg Added a blackbody node to the light. https://i.imgur.com/noZkvse.jpg Normalize OFF https://i.imgur.com/RrAB1zc.jp...

White balance: how should work in luxcore?
I'm trying the new white balance camera option and I'm quite confused how it works here. Considering a super simple scene. Default Blender scene. A plane, a cube, a camera and an area light. No environment lighting, just one light source (the area one). Plane and cube have a default luxcore material...

Re: Reflections in Cycles and Luxcorerender ?
The problem is that you're facing some smoothing problem.
Try to set autosmooth on the reflector object or assign it an edge split modifier.
It should reflect like Cycles

Re: Light intensities and matching Cycles
@BYOB and chafouin Great! I hope you'll find a way to collaborate. I'm feeling that will have a good light setup options. I really like the idea to work with "real" world numbers cause, for my experience and kind of job, it's the easier and fastest way to setup a scene as lighting. Obvious...

nevermind, just my fault... I wasn't adding the recipients. Just searching members but not added.
Now I've sent them and I've discovered that the character limit is 60k.
