Re: A baking test scene

Hi Dade I’ve noticed the error message for missing textures (the books) appear randomly; then fixes itself. I don’t know why this happens, but the textures are there. I’ll delete all the original Cycles materials and maybe that will help. I can’t see any incorrect normal for the walls on the inside ...

Re: Shadow Terminator problem

i do the same but this is not normal. a single shader shouldn't completely dictate your lighting preference ;) I agree, and even though I really like the Velvet shader it has been a bit hit and miss at times. The settings aren't labelled very definitively and are described as 'abstract'(or somethin...

Re: Shadow Terminator problem

Sometimes, tweaking the 'Advanced' settings or making the light source larger appears to fix this. Also, it can be really sensitive to whether of not there is enough Sub-divisions. I don't understand why, but that's how I've been using it.

Re: A baking test scene

I may have misunderstood the request for 2.80 (not 2.81). Sorry
So just in case, I have reinstalled 2.80( from Blender archives) and converted the file.
It is here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhdwgLaw01tLpnPzeQz ... h?e=DOmHPg

Re: Hybrid Glass etc in Latest

......please ignore last post, I think I've worked it out. :D

edited: For anyone else wondering about this there is an info message, that describes it in good detail, which pops up when hovering over the Architectual select box on the Glass node (which I completely missed to see  )

So, is it a case of make the Glass architectural then change the colour in the Material Output?

Thanks for your nice support ;)
Your'e welcome. I hope it can be of some help.

Feel free to tweak away as it probably needs editing in the materials to give a more professional finish.

Hybrid Glass etc in Latest

For the new V2.3 (Alpha.0) features such as Displacement and the Hydbrid Glass are they in the Blender Lux 2.8 Latest? Maybe I'm not installing the files correctly as they don't appear to be showing up. Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong place for the feature?
