Re: LINUX Cuda (Optix) Error with BlendLuxCore 2.5beta

Hi, i now completely removed the systems Nvidia Driver and installed the latest Driver from the Nvidia homepage (455.46.04) But still i get the same error message [LuxRays][28.786] [MergeSampleBuffersOCL] CUDA program compilation error: nvrtc: error: failed to open libnvrtc-builtins.so. Here is the output from

On Blender 2.83 Optix isn't working at all. It fails in Cycles as well.
On Blender 2.91 Cycles runs with Optix, but in Luxcore i get the same Error.

Re: LINUX Cuda (Optix) Error with BlendLuxCore 2.5beta

Hi Dade!
Thanks for your help!
The files seem to in place. Is it relevant, that i don't use a installed version of Blender but a daily build?

LINUX Cuda (Optix) Error with BlendLuxCore 2.5beta

Hey there! I recently dared to switch from Windows to Linux finally. I decided to give PopOS a shot and i am happy with that by now, because almost everything seems to work out of the box. But if i want to use BlendLuxCore with Cuda (Optix) i get this Error message: OptixAccel CUDA program compilati...

Re: GPU render experience

I just gave Octane another try, I wouldn't say the viewport rendering is as reactive as Cycles, as least it isn't on my machine. However.... holy moly, it's incredibly fast. That's not what i meant. I am totally happy with BlendLuxCore's viewport Performance on GPU. But i think the UI could stay mo...

Re: GPU render experience

Howver, LuxCore experience with GPU rendering has always been terrible for me. I know about the trick to lower the viewport resolution, it does help a lot without really fixing the interactivity issues. Hey, i was thinking the about the same topic yesterday and LuxCore really got better with this i...

Progress 'Koerfer House"
After some weeks off i found some time to continue this project.
Just 5min rendertime for a test shot - the scene is still in heavy development.

Viewport Path Depth

Hello Everyone! I couldn't find a possibility to 'clamp' the Path Depth in the viewport render settings. Has BlendLuxCoreRender a feature like that? And if not, would it be possible to integrate it into the 'Advanced' panel of 'Viewport Render'? I like to keep the Path Depth pretty high for renderin...
