Re: BlendLuxCore Development
A short demo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dndMqrAW084&list=PLRIFDztiB7485HAtfvqTSiOyucvtzBkN7&index=5 I love the "interactiviness" and "responsiveness" . You should post a link to the video here too: http://www.luxrender.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=13485...

Re: LuxCoreRender Project wants you!
Thanks, i will try and test... :o It is not a stand alone version but an add-on for Blender. i do not use Blender  What do you use ? The stand alone version can be "extracted" by the Blender add-on but it is unlikely to be of any use for you without an add-on for your preferr...

Re: Principled - Metal Roughness Material
I'm waiting for 2.79a to be released and have looked at the wiki page. I've been doing a lot of my texture work in Substance Painter and 3D Coat. They natively work with the PBR Principled Shader defined by Pixar Renderman. Given its popularity with many render engines, could we eventually see supp...

Re: BlendLuxCore Development
Neo, it was discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26
Apparently, they are building the daily builds in 2.8 environment so they use Python 3.6 however we assume the final release 2.79a will be done in 2.79 environment (so with Python 3.5).

Re: Windows: Can't enable addon in latest Blender
But as I said, I think the 2.79a build will probably use 3.5 again. Yes, it would be very strange to change Python version between 2.79 and 2.79a. edit: If I copy python35.dll to pyluxcore.pyd, I get ImportError: Module use of python35.dll conflicts with this version of Python. So we would have to ...

Re: Windows: Can't enable addon in latest Blender
Latest buildbot Blender uses 3.6.2 The binaries are compiled for Python 3.5 like previous version of Blender was. Is this the first Blender version to use Python 3.6 instead of 3.5 ? This is the list of dependencies on Windows. It requires python35.dll and I assume Blender buildbot has only python3...

Re: Windows: Can't enable addon in latest Blender
I have tried to install on Linux and obtained a Blender crash. But after re-starting Blender, everything was working fine, including BlendLuxCore.
Going to try on Windows.
