Re: BlendLuxCore-v2.1alpha4-mac64-opencl

Haven't done any big scenes so far...but for sure the benchmark blender file crashes blender... Another thing I observed in my "beam a bitmap image from spot light over mirror onto a semitransparent glass": Sometimes it renders just some light....then cancel rendering and start again it sh...

[Solved] Mirrors

Evnin' I did a small sample where a spot light beams an image file onto a semi transparent glass material via a mirror object....which renders not bad inside blender... What puzzles me is the fact that I see in the render output the casted image also on the mirror...and reflections of it at the side...

Re: macOS: OpenCL device selection string has the wrong length, must be 2 instead of 1

Hmm...when opening the render.cfg file with LuxCore UI 2.1alpha4 I get under macOS 10.13.6 with GTX1060 and 387.10.10.10.40.105: [LuxCore][98.275] [VignettingPlugin] Defined symbols: -D LUXRAYS_OPENCL_KERNEL -D SLG_OPENCL_KERNEL [LuxCore][98.275] [VignettingPlugin] Compiling kernels [LuxCore][98.368...

Re: macOS: OpenCL device selection string has the wrong length, must be 2 instead of 1

Hello

Is this similar to the Linux standalone version?

There it just gives me:
LuxCoreUI v2.0 (LuxCore demo: http://www.luxcorerender.org)
Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.
RenderConfig loading error:
unsupported version
when I open the same file..

Just tried the latest standalone version under macOS 10.13.6 with a GTX1060....

After loading the LuxCore2.1Benchmark.bcf scene file I get at the end in the console:
OpenCL device selection string has the wrong length, must be 2 instead of 1

[Solved] Renders forever on macOS blender

Just installed the BlendLuxCore-v2.1alpha4-mac64-opencl.zip on macOS 10.13.6 in blender 2.79b... When I try to render just a simple cube with matte material I see the GPU usage goes up to maximum...and seems the rendering never ends... the render progress shows always 0% even after 10 minutes... On ...
