Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1alpha0 released

instead of ESC, I force-stop it by setting Halt sampling to lower value than it is at the moment And this prevents the denoiser from running when the render is stopped? That would be a bug. No, sorry, i missed that part. This testing is tiring, getting to me. Artifacts appear also with Scale...

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1alpha0 released

Can you post such a scene with artifacts? Does it also happen with the default scales value (3)? Does it happen with Path, too? Artifacts appear also with Scales: 3 & yes, with every engine. Suspecting Camera Clipping or bright pixels... or both... or none... burnedBug_8cpuPT.jpg burnedBug_8gpu...

BiDir, Scales: 6

Can anything be done to use less time? Because even, if it's set to lower vales it computes as long or even longer. :?

Re: Weak Caustics with BiDir, Path Caustics ok

Hello kintuX, thank you for your post, in your example gif : have you used Path or BiDir rendermode ? Because i've changed the HDRI resolution ( tried 2k, 4k, an 8k ) and the results are always the same. The focal point of the sun is always shifted to some degree and not in the vertical center of t...

Re: Weak Caustics with BiDir, Path Caustics ok

IIRC, there's something wrong with HDRI rotation. At least last time i checked it was quite different than in Cycles. Gonna test now. EDIT... looks fine, just intensity differs a bit, but was expected... sorry for the false alarm  EDIT2 I think Path caustics with small resolution (1k) HDRIs ar...

Re: BlendLuxCore Development

@kintuX: I somehow forgot your post, it happens when it is not a github issue. Yeah, i forgot about it too. ;) Sounds like the files are not correct. They are scientifically correct but it looks like they use different standard. Gonna look into specifics on Luxpop and Sopra standards. Do they work ...

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.1/2.2 features poll

Would light cache help "complex path" renders, like caustics in pool or this one , like SPPM did ? No. It helps to sample lights better faster. (ie. psychopath renderer , Efficient sampling of many lights (@ompf2.com) ) For BiDir caustics there's nothing alike SPPM out there. At least i h...
