A moving object affects the photon distribution which will then in each frame lead to a different bias on the not moving parts showing as flickering. It might be possible to reduce the bias to the point where you...

nigec wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 5:58 pm No its not online yet, but yes that would be great if you could make a repository for it.
How should I call the repository? (side note: it's rather hard to change the name later)
If you give me your github username, I can also invite you and give you rights for the repo.

We can create one at https://github.com/LuxCoreRender It would be good to have this online, it will make this project visible, others might get interested to help, you can link it in sketchup forums when asking for help etc. Also, you don't have to fi...

Re: Adaptive sampling improvements

I can also decouple the two if wanted and introduce some new adaptive.enable parameter. I think adaptive sampling can be disabled by setting the "sampler.<samplerytpe>.adaptive.strength" property to 0. It is also possible to disable the noise stop condition with "batch.haltthreshold....

Re: Adaptive sampling improvements

I wonder how many people use the noise threshold as halt condition. By the way, I was always a bit confused why the noise threshold is coupled with adaptive sampling. It seems not intuitive to me (from a user perspective) - most of the time I want adaptive sampling, but no noise halt threshold, and ...

Re: Dirt/Fingerprints on Glass

There are no changes required in the Blender addon to use this fix.
However, the latest daily build does not yet contain the fix: https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/LuxCore/commits/master

Re: Blender export to standalone version: render is darker

I tested it and I still get a slightly different output with default color management settings. Another approach would be to save as EXR from Blender, if I remember correctly, Blender does not apply color management when saving as EXR. If you also save EXR from luxcoreui, you should get identical re...
