Exporting Group instance takes more time
Hi,
Exporting Group instance takes more time, I think it is not sharing mesh info. Where as the particles export faster even if the triangle count are in billion.
Is there any option I have to check during Group instance export.

Re: Test scences GPU Path vs CPU BiDir
Denoiser has remove fireflies option. It mostly cleans all the fire flies.
If you still get fireflies after enabling it, you can clamp the radiance using the clamp output option in render settings

Re: Yellow Chairs
Hi, These are rendered with Luxcore 2.1 alpha (with denoiser). The render times are around 4 - 5 mins (CPU i74770K, GPU R9280x). After denoiser the Luxcore speed jumps multifold. What do you guys think. Area lights yellow area.png Distant and area light yellow area & distant.png infinite and are...

Re: File "libboost_system-vc141-mt-1_56" is corrupted
Before I used to build Luxcorerender V2.0 in VS2013 without the above mentioned lines. But in VS2017, it is needed, Any reasons :?: . Ok, I forgot that you are building directly in VS IDE. No, honestly I don't know why those lines are needed with VS2017. You load the cmake-generated project in the ...

Re: File "libboost_system-vc141-mt-1_56" is corrupted
Yes, The file is not corrupted. I used to build from VS2017 IDE environment. After adding the following lines in "Additional Dependencies" of "Linker" section H:\luxcorerender\WindowsCompileDeps\x64\Release\lib\zlib1.lib H:\luxcorerender\WindowsCompileDeps\x64\Release\lib\libboos...

Re: Denoiser Integration
Well, 20secs for an image... when the alternative (no denoiser) is to wait minutes or hours to have the same "noisefree" level... is this real a problem? :) I know it is faster. What I want to know was, if it is implemented in OpenCL. As BYOB mentioned it is CPU multithreaded. If it was i...
