Hi

I have another Pointer question:

What does the SHOW button do when used for Materials? When used for Textures it immediately shows the node tree, but when used for Materials it doesn't appear to be doing anything.

Is it possible to have various objects with their own material but share a colour, so that if I change the colour on one of the materials it will update in all the other materials? An example would be a cushion with buttons. The cushion has Material A, the buttons have Material B, but they both shar...

All the The five Books of the trilogy? - I can't remember that long ago, but I think so. Maybe I stopped at 'So long and thanks for all the fish' or at Dirk Gently. By the way, it might save a lot of memory if you join a patch with a few thousand hairs into one object and use a particle system to instance it over the furniture. Thanks BYOB, I'll try that.
