You don't need to mix different materials, just mix textures and plug the result in glass transmission color.

It is working fine here, are you sure to have correctly updated the BlendLuxCore ?
If you:
1) open Blender;
2) set LuxCore render;
3) set GPU rendering;
4) enable viewport rendering;
5) grab the cube and move it around.
Does it crash ?
