Re: My first attempt, need a lot of guidance

Short version: it is a lot simpler if you can post the scene and we can set up the rendering for you.
I agree !

Re: Caches

Thank you, guys, again! Sharly, so, it´s possible to update the cache. This is great! This means I can use cache animating, for example, a light color? Or its intensity? Or even, changing an object´s position? If you force the cache limit by doing that you open the door for flickering like in my sh...

Re: LuxCore Online Library (LOL)

Patron asset features has been added in 2.5 Blendluxcore so you need that version to make it work properly as said in the tutorial here : https://youtu.be/fJoqOqQIBgs I don't if it is safe but blendluxcore 2.4 + Luxcore 2.5 build can make the trick (but forget about it and go for 2.5 build ...

Re: Caches

Don't clearly remenber but i think you also need to uncheck save cache while it is done. So that it will not compute and erase previous one.
Make sure to not change object and lighting after that.
If you do that make sure to check save cache to rewrite a new updated cache.

Re: Caches

In a more artistic friendly language. For flythrougth camera animation it is a super fast solution. Compute once and gain speed from saved caches at each frame rendered. There are a lot of super good animation we can do with that : Example. https://youtu.be/oFzt-3sRExI https://youtu.be/raxoyqpOayM W...

Speed without Cache

There is good reasons why i'm still talking about that thing. 1__ It is good 2__ There is good interest from many artists to switch to Luxcore from big rendering names ( Redshift , Vray , Corona , E_cycles ...) 3__ Competition level increase With Eeevee now closing the gap to Cycles (Eeeve SSGI http...

Re: Luxcore 2.5 (settings for my laptop)

Yes I am able. I am using the vpn and now I can see the material ones...not sure why those are not working. Do you know how should I set the preferences to be able to use Optix in my viewport ? I am really not a fan of the denoiser in 2.4 Optix can be enable in 2.5 addon preferences ( use optix if ...

Re: Viewport render crash on GPU Cuda

In theory this may even work but: every pending RenderSession will keep a full copy of the scene in ram. You can just keep resizing the view port and the memory usage will increase and increase
Can this have an impact on viewport responssivness ?
