Re: first steps on luxcore
Yes, there seems to be a little discrepancy. Can you make a bug report on github so I don't forget? Just include the images and the test scene. Done thanks you ;) The Cycles motion blur looks very wrong, are you sure it isn't using a some fake approximation ? here is the cycles Motion blur panel. b...

Re: first steps on luxcore
nice thanks for the tips. do you also think it is possible to mimic the same result ? also why our Motion blur is so noisy ?

cycles
EDIT
I'm also experimenting a slow down in render due to noisy deph of field.

Re: BlendLuxCore Development
A view-dependent mix factor like the Cycles "Blend" node? Currently LuxCore does not offer this, but I think it could be implemented. cycles node.png I always wonder if theses node reproduce physically accurate behavior. and if yes : __ what are the relevant scenario for that ? __ why we ...

Re: Optimizing NVidia kernel compile
like this part green company on green toxic substanceHowever the LuxMark Mic scene is still pure kryptonite for NVIDIA compiler, it still requires 90secs for compilation (all other scenes I have tested are under 10secs).

Re: Laser, Prism and Mirror Fun
Yes, that's the reason why I reduced eye path depth from 64 to 5 and light path depth from 64 to 12. I also used a low scattering value and some absorption on the single scattering volume. But there i think you loose too much GI quality. we must be able to render it at quality very close to the fir...

Re: LuxCoreRender v2.0alpha4 released
I did it in my nakaging test and it is really faster (btw i use adaptive value of 0.95).ok, thanks for the clarification. Did you measure how much faster it renders with adaptive sampling? At least in my test using CPU, render time and result where the same using adaptive at 0.0 and 0.7.
