There is LuxC4D 0.08b for R12 for old Lux Render, which worked up to R19.
Maybe there's hope...

Re: tilepath and clamping... again

6000x6000 ... and in the mean time I feel guilty of "high-resolution" rendering when doing 640x480 ... Was a test to see what size i can squeeze out of LuxCore in one go, with 16GB RAM while i kept going (with Blender & hungry FireFox running, consuming ~4GB). It performed really well...

Re: DLCS and Round objects

Do you understand that this is a simplified scene to show an issue I'm having with dlcs? Or do you plan to tell me on every issue I find that I should either fix it my self or learn to work around the issue, or simply stop using luxcore? Did a couple of similar tests which all gave bad and even wor...

Re: Denoiser CPU and GPU different results.

Am witnessing somewhat small inconsistencies in final result statistics, while comparing GPU vs CPU usage. I assume since GPU does computing far faster using different packaging than CPU, results may vary. Difference is very small and not visible to the naked eye. Also, a small error can escalate fa...

Re: Different Works in Progress

There is no point digging any deeper into this. It works as advertised, I've been looking over the internet and this is simply what it is. It is not using any extra information that would make it preserve details and no feature recognition so it will never work as any other denoiser in other render...

Re: DLCS and Round objects

Such a scene is not well suited for DLCS. Basically, DLCS is applicable only in specific cases & scenes.
Understanding the fine line, then applying that knowledge, is what makes a fine artist.
Once in a while, a homework, is what everyone must do.

Re: Cycles vs Corona

Chaos Group has bought Corana some time ago (may be because they were leaking users to Corona ?). Anyway the correlation between V-Ray and Corona is likely to be even stronger in the future. Well, soon they'll be sharing materials & scene description, cloud service... probably next step would b...

Yes microroughness is present.
But if you know of a better solution please, suggest, advise...

I'm still looking for best shader model, one that would be worth of implementing successfully (for starters, more efficient with specularity - producing less noise & less energy loss).

Re: Cycles vs Corona

Its 45 days demo or need a licence. So there is no possibility to use the old Alpha 6 free version ? Not with Alpha 6.1, as is only a 3DS max plugin (2011-2015 & DrServer). No standalone. Standalones are, as mentioned, available within official installers for Max (45 day free) & C4D (free b...
