It wont detect my GPU even though its under system preferences. I have rtx 570 4th gen and it doesn't show up under devices and when I set it to render under GPU it doesn't change and stays with the CPU. Did you try to do a final render? It sounds like you downloaded the github repository (BlendLuxCore-master). That's not enough, you need the binaries as well.

There is only one type of linear FP32: it is meaning depends how you transform the input colors and output colors (so LuxCore internal color representation can be sRGB or ACEScg). Maybe we could use an in-depth, technical guide to volume setup to help users of the LuxCore API understand the system better? (Of course, the question is who has time to write it)

BlendLuxCore now has support for setting the exterior volume of lights (necessary in some niche scenes when rendering with Bidir).

LuxCore won't benefit from the better double float performance or the special line rendering stuff that CAD software needs.
