Re: Volumetric render ....
If you add displacement to it it will be more complicated and interesting.

Re: NVIDIA RTX GPUs and KeyShot Accelerate Rendering for Caustics
These are my renders :D Thanks for sharing. I am a beginner LuxCore user as well, and have translated some of these scenes into Luxcore for testing purposes. Right now, the ability to do caustics in Keyshot is a clear winner in terms of 'ease of use' but I totally think LuxCore could be a contender...

Re: Giga Benchmark battle : Luxcore Redshift CyclesX ECycles Vray Corona
That's because we do not have good videos to introduces the LuxCore and all the features, and by video, I mean good, small, commercial-like video. If you look at the Cycles-X introduction video or unreal engine 5 you will get what I'm talking about. Even sometimes they exaggerate the abilities and ...

Re: Volumetric render ....
render time is getting too long especially when I use a higher value for scattering, but it does the job. Are you using multi-scattering or heterogeneous volumes ? Homogeneous volumes are pretty fast to render. Oh, I see, so I need to use heterogeneous volumes instead. thank you. If B.O.B.Y has tim...

Re: LuxeedRay opensource renderer
Appleseed is officially dead. Last night the main developers in private forums announced they will not regularly maintain the code and there will be just important implementation if there is enough time. Even my own last implementation to approved after about 5 months. The only advantage Appleseed h...

Re: Volumetric render ....
Actually, I could implement it, as a two steps: 1) convert an arbitrary mesh in a NULL cube with inside a volume (having the shape of the mesh); 2) operations between volumes (sum, subtraction, etc.); It may be not even hard to do but it sounds a bit like a toy with very little practical applicatio...
