Blender 2.83 and LuxCoreRender 2.4 I've been testing at just 50 samples to any differences. Maybe that is why. The time differences were from 5:35 to 5:45, so longer renders would be noticeable. Your scene is likely to have a wrong setup: have you assigned a volume to the camera ? In alternative you can assign world volume.
