Proposal to improve shading workflow
Hi there! I recently read some things about LuxCore's viewport being too slow. For i can't really complain about the performance, there might still be some headroom with small tweaks (i think they are small, but I'm not into coding :) ) 1. What about a shading mode? Like the Eevee-Mode with Cycles. ...

Re: Luxcore 2.6 suggestion
Do not quickly compare, but really try to work daily, all projects in Luxcore. I am sure, soon you will understand what is going on. This part of Luxcore does need strong developers. But they bypass this problem. Prefer her not to notice. It really does not make it possible to work with Luxcore. Wi...

Re: Luxcore 2.6 suggestion
LuxCore has become pretty fast with it's viewport. I made a quick comparison myself with a pretty detailed interior scene. There is no big gap between Cycles (actually i used E-Cycles) and LuxCore 2.5. The Optix Denoiser however seems to work more accurate on glass materials in Cycles for some reaso...

Re: Bathroom
Also, if you have got your caustic cache radius set how you want it, you can speed up rendering by disabling the automatic updating reduction step and just force it on the minimum size right from the beginning, and it won't waste time re-shooting caustics during rendering. That renders super fast, ...

Re: Bathroom
It's rare for CPU light tracing to be faster than a 2080 Ti in my experience with an i9 9900K and 2 2080 Tis :? But yes, if that is indeed the case, you could scale some CPU power to path tracing also. Does your scene and textures require more than 10GB memory so that you have to use out-of-core re...

Bathroom
Still I'm designing a 80sqm appartement and just started with the bathroom. Again, i just have to say WOW concerning LuxCoreRender- I don't know any other render engine for Blender handling Caustics that well. Any advices to make the best use of Light Tracing? I had it at 100% CPU usage and it made ...
