So is this setup incorrect and that the gamma should be set to 2.2? (file attached)

Just to say that I'm finding (as Kintux mentioned), that so long as the Gamma is kept at a value of 1 then the problem goes away. I think I've seen an article about reasons for setting gamma values to 1 or 2.2 somewhere else, possibly on the older Luxrender forum. Sorry, but I can't remember where! ...
