Re: Inconsistency in Tiled Path results

I've tried several AA values. But as far as I saw, I get the "best" render times when I go to the highest AA value without crashing Luxcore/Blender. In my case this is 8.

Inconsistency in Tiled Path results

While doing me render tests, I saw a strange difference in the results delivered when using Tiled Path rendering. The larger the region that I render is, the cleaner the result is. Here are the renderings. The first (left) is a render region (set in Blender). The result shows some grain in the shado...

Re: cancel rendering

Would it maybe be possible to add an option like "Skip denoising after cancellation" to the Denoiser section? I render very large images and every time I cancel a rendering I have to wait for minutes until the denoising finished (which I don't need). Sometimes the PC won't respond at all a...

Re: Denoise trouble

This is a nice example for a side-by-side comparison (your test scene from the initial post). And as you can see, the denoiser works pretty well.

Re: Denoise trouble

That's just a screenshot so we can only assume how the un-denoised, final rendering looks like. But i guess it will not be much cleaner with this one being almost done. Try to get more samples in and find some way to reduce noise. You can also manually copy the OIDN 1.3 files. It's supposed to be be...

Re: Denoise trouble

I'm not an expert on denoising, but the first shot has A LOT of noise in it. 248 samples is quite low I guess. You might also want to look into some of the Cache options. But I will have to pass this on to the architectural experts. Maybe you will find something in those two Youtube channels ... htt...

Re: Denoise trouble

In the two images that you've shown above, it's not only a case of one being blurred. There are a lot more issues going on. Textures are missing, lights are different, it looks darker. That's not just a denoise issue. I also tried the BLEND file that you posted in the initial post and it looks perfe...

I'd appreciate it if you stay away from ad hominems. Adding a winky eye doesn't make them funnier. Cheers.
