Luxart.
Yes, LINK. Thanks
Is it possible to break the LINK, otherwise it acts like a standard CAD sub-assembly and if the original is modified then so is the copy?

Re: CTRL + C
I have a workaround that I'm quite happy to use, which is: Firstly, copy the Material nodes from the first Blend file and paste them into the new Blend file (to any object). Then delete the material from the first Blend file and just copy the object from the first Blend file to the new Blend file (w...

Re: Indoor Ikea Test
The scene looks pretty good to me. A lot of hard work has obviously gone into it.
I like the carpet, and all the stuff on the shelves.
Being from a sofa manufacturer myself I have to say that I'm not mad about the sofa design, but that's more to do with the actual design rather than your modelling!

Re: LuxCore
If you would like to upload the file either as a blend or step I could take a look at it for you. I'm not a Blender expert, but not bad at TopSolid.

Re: CTRL + C
I use ctrl C to get objects from one Blend file to another. I don't think this can be done with shift A. Is there another way?

It's a great model, but what's that bit in the middle of the attached pic? It looks like some tiles are floating in mid-air.

CTRL + C
Hi
As soon as I try to copy an object with a material using CTRL + C, Blender crashes. If I remove the material it's ok. This is always happening whether I use a new scene or an old one?

Re: Noise Texture
Ok, Thank you. I'll keep playing around with it and see what effects I can get.

Noise Texture
What do artists tend to use the (Blender) Noise texture in Lux for? It appears much more subtle than the one in Cycles. Is it for situations like when you have a plain white painted wall but want to prevent it from looking absolutely even all over and hence giving that 'obviously CGI look'!
Thanks
