https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EhDr3Rs5fTU
This video shows you some of great technology of the upcoming code-sprint in Los Angeles on Siggraph 2019 which is started from July 27 to August 1 if I'm not wrong.
Some useful codes would be great if LuxCore devs are integrate.
Regards.

Re: Feature request: Micropolygon Displacement (Micropolis)

As I tested that Microdusplacement aka Adaptive Subdovision in Cycles it has memory consumption. Exactly, it tesselation every subdivided object. I dont understand why it does do that moreover if i just subdived object manually with using Subdivision modifier? Is it possible using like if i use 2048...

Re: BlendLuxCore Development

Great. Any link for testing the build? It's not in a state yet where it would make sense to give it to end-users. You can test it of course as it's open source, but you will have to - compile the blender2.8 branch of LuxCore against python3.7 instead of 3.5 - and use the refactor/new_blender2.80 br...

I implemented support for MixRGB and Math nodes. However not all of their operations are available in LuxCore yet.

Re: Feature request: Micropolygon Displacement (Micropolis)

I have read this: https://docs.blender.org/manual/es/dev/render/materials/components/displacement.html The most accurate and memory intensive displacement method is to apply true displacement to the mesh surface. It requires the mesh to be finely subdivided, which can be memory intensive. Adaptive ...

Does Cycles have microdisplacement? (no RAM cost)
I thought it only has regular adaptive displacement?

Re: Feature request: Micropolygon Displacement (Micropolis)

This describes a REYES-style rasterizer (very different philosophy compared to LuxCore). Also, did you have a look at the "limitations" section in the github readme? Oops, i didnt look up to Limitations section :) By the way, is it possible to add the code from Cycles render's Micropoly Adaptive Di...
