Hi,
well, at the moment I'm on alpha 7.
OK, let's test on first beta as soon as it is available.
Thanks.

Re: Interruption while rendering an animation
Hi, I made this sample file: untitled.blend It shows the described error very well. The render settings within are identical with the config I was using in my model. On my first shot - the render stopped after finishing frame 3 - no result image was written. The missing HDRI could be downloaded ther...

Interruption while rendering an animation
Hello, this my current situation. I'd like to do an animation with a little less than 300 frames. The animation is a camera path only. So the observer is moving a little and the observed empty object is following a path. After starting the animation it runs a certain period of time and generates res...

Re: No result while rendering without ambient
Hi, Do you see a chance to predtermine whether a scribe will run into such a precision issue? How does other ray tracing solutions manage this problem? I think the old lux doesn't show that issue with the same scene or object. I've rendered lot of images using such an LED body and such an chip size ...

Re: No result while rendering without ambient
Hi, that's a challanging question you were asking. Some time ago there was guy called B.Y.O.B. in a Blender forum who pointed me to lux render. The open question in that forum was dealing about shaders and physics based volume description. His Mantra was "keep an eye on the dimensions of your s...

Material preview is missing
Hi all,
do you see any chance to have an integrated material preview window.
Something that is like the preview that was there before lux core, or did I mis anything?

Re: Light sources using real world spectra
Hi,
having spectra that code special white lights from 380nm up to 780nm using a sampling of 5 to 10nm makes the irregular data input kind of confusing, doesn't it?

Re: No result while rendering without ambient
Hi, Those luminous fluxes that I've used are real world values. Especially for this LED type are neither very high not pretty low. In order to compute physical correct (even in luminance values) images it would be great to make it possible to handle those fluxes. By the way, why don't you get rid of...

Re: The IRRADIANCE AOV
Hi,
can the radiance (maybe in false color like classic) be exposed in Blender there as well?
Thanks.

Volumina using real world refractive indices
Hi, does lux core offers a feature like "old" classic lux to import tables that combines a certain wavelength with it's related refractive index. It will allow more realistic dispersion as well as more trustful color mixing and total inner reflection handling while light is running through...
